People Landing · Our People grid

Four ways to name a face on hover

The tiles are about 70px, too small to hold a legible name and title. Each option borrows space from somewhere else: an overlay card, the heading below, the cursor, or the row.

1a Gliding magnifier

A 2×2 card opens over the hovered tile with a larger photo and a gold name plate. Moving across the grid, the card glides between people instead of blinking.

1b Spotlight, heading becomes the caption

Everyone else fades back. The "Our People" heading swaps to the hovered person's name and title at the same scale, so the name is as large as anything on the page.

1c Cursor tag

A gold tag rides next to the pointer and flips sides near the right edge. The hovered tile gets a gold frame; neighbors dim slightly. Lightest touch on the photos.

1d Row banner

A gold band wipes out from the hovered photo across the rest of its row, carrying the name in large type. It opens toward whichever side has more room. Echoes the angled green band further down the page.
